Kumihimo, or Japanese Braid-making will be taught by Melissa Manczuk. Kumi himo is Japanese for "gathered threads" and allows for the making of braids on a special Kumihimo disk with bobbins. The disks have 32 notches that create tension allowing the creation of beautiful braids for bracelets and necklaces. You will learn to make a simple keyring braid in the class. All materials will be supplied. Check back for registration as this class will be limited to 10 students.
